Earliest Childhood Memory

I remember riding around in a brown station wagon and seeing this really wierd looking three-wheeled car. I always thought it was just in my head until I was recently looking through my mom’s old family albums and there it was…a little red three-wheeled car. My mom said that I was either 2 or 3 when we saw the car. It was an electric car by the way.

I remember getting Mrs. Beasley for Christmas. I remember living in New Orleans and there being a flood, and my mom carrying my brother and holding my hand…then seeing a man in his fishing boat, running the motor…down what was the street.

I know exactly what you mean because the same thing happened to me. My dad only took his mustache off one other time, and it freaked me out almost as bad the second time as it did back when I was 4 years old.

What a strange thing for us to have in common!

I can remember when my younger sister was born, we had to wait downstairs in the front room until my Aunt came for us, I was four years old. I can remember that day even now, 74 years has passed.
